Below is the route that I will be taken from John O’Groats to Lands End, while doing the End to End cycle. The total distance is around 990 miles.
- Day 1 : John O’Groats to Tongue – 64 miles
- Day 2 : Tongue to Carbisdale Castle – 45 miles
- Day 3 : Carbisdale Castle to Loch Ness – 61.5 miles
- Day 4 : Loch Ness to Glencoe – 58.3 miles
- Day 5 : Glencoe to Killearn – 70.2 miles
- Day 6 : Killearn to New Lanark – 48.6 miles
- Day 7 : New Lanark to Carlisle – 81 miles
- Day 8 : Carlisle to Slaidburn – 82.6 miles
- Day 9 : Slaidburn to Chester – 86.3 miles
- Day 10 : Chester : rest day
- Day 11 : Chester to Clun – 67.1 miles
- Day 12 : Clun to Welsh Bicknor – 59.7 miles
- Day 13 : Welsh Bicknor to Street – 79 miles
- Day 14 : Street to Okehampton – 80.1 miles
- Day 15 : Okehampton to Treyarnon Bay – 54.8 miles
- Day 16 : Treyarnon Bay to Land’s End – 61 miles
really useful info thanks. im planning this ride in June this year, ive seen so many differnet routes and still unsure which one to do, some say avoid cycle routes and others encourage. the only thing im certain of is a sore derrier. Do you have a more comprehensive breakdown of the route showing the roads you took or have i missed that on the maps – im a little techno dum
